SSQ Riverstone
Riverstone phyllite - the diamond of the slate world – is quarried in San Luis region deep in central Argentina. Medium grey in colour, Riverstone Phyllite has subtle grain and unique satin-like lustre, with mica crystals giving the stone its distinct phyllitic sheen. Subjected to incredible heat and pressure over millions of years, Riverstone delivers outstanding aesthetics and durability. And that is what makes it one of the hardest, toughest, longest-lasting natural roofing materials in the world.
Riverstone phyllite is available as roofing and cladding tiles in various sizes and selections as well as flooring and landscaping products including fixed size calibrated tiles in Natural and Brushed finishes, flagstones and uncalibrated tiles for cladding.
SSQ Del Carmen
Del Carmen quarry is one of the largest quarries in Spain. It is located in the Cabrera region and is renowned for extracting high-quality slate from a single, consistent vein. Del Carmen is a black slate with a distinctive, faintly rippled texture, a characteristic longitudinal grain, and a blue-black hue that does not fade even under constant strong sunlight.

SSQ Domiz
SSQ Domiz slate is mined and hand split exclusively for SSQ from the Orense region in North-West Spain.
Domiz is a Spanish grey slate rich in blue-grey overtones, coupled with deep bold texture. The colour is completely natural and will not fade even in the harshest weather environment. Domiz natural slates offer a long track record of proven quality and lasting aesthetic beauty.
SSQ Matacouta
Matacouta slate comes from the Cabrera region in Spain renowned for its high performance roofing slates. Matacouta is a striking black Spanish slate with blue-black overtones and characteristic bold texture. The colour is completely natural and will not fade even in the harshest weather environment. Matacouta renowned for its durability and quality consistency, can be split as thin as 4,3mm and as Heavy 8-10mm thickness.
